Towers to Heaven: The Alchemy of Prophecy, Terror, and Unity

Towers to Heaven: The Alchemy of Prophecy, Terror, and Unity

They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

– Revelation 9:11

At the end of last month, I read an article that claimed Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was foretold by a “20 Year Old Movie”. The film was a 1998 thriller entitled “Enemy of the State” starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman.

My curiosity aroused, I selected the show from my electronic catalog and watched it unwind; similar to the way I once queued up songs on jukeboxes in the halcyon days preceding the matrix.

In the film, Gene Hackman played an Edward Snowden-type National Security Agency (NSA) contractor gone rogue who revealed to the viewers the U.S. government’s high-tech surveillance capabilities. Two decades ago when the film was released, the surveillance grid disclosed therein would have seemed far-fetched. But not today. Now, in the aftermath of 911, the Patriot Act, and the Snowden revelations, those capabilities are not only common knowledge, but are the subjects of ongoing daily headlines.

The antagonist in the film was played by Jon Voight, a power-hungry NSA bureaucrat who assembled a team of technology experts and security agents that blackmailed Congress and even murdered a senator.  The politician was killed to aid the passing of a Patriot Act-style bill that would have, in effect, drilled the final screw into the coffin of the Fourth Amendment.

The film called to mind multiple recent news stories ranging from high-tech espionage, to social media spying and censorship, to CIA programs like UMBRAGE which masquerades as computer hacks by foreign governments, to the Awan brothers and the murder of former Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich.  Essentially, the plot demonstrated Senator Chuck Schumer’s warning to President Donald Trump in an MSNBC interview on January 3rd, 2017:

Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday to get back at you.

While watching the film, it occurred to me that the real “enemies of the people” were the technology experts and security agents who traded our birthright for their paycheck. Or maybe they just did what they did because they could.

In any case, at exactly the one-hour-thirty-two-minute mark in the film, the birthdate of the evil NSA bureaucrat (played by Jon Voight) was revealed as intelligence gathered by Gene Hackman’s character.

What was the date? It was this:

9/11/1940

Yes, the antagonist in the 1998 movie entitled “Enemy of the State” was born on 911.

Coincidence or conspiracy?

Now this one:

In the 1996 film “The Long Kiss Goodnight”, there was a scene that can be viewed here (at the 1:05 – 1:24 mark) where an exchange occurred as follows:

Samuel Jackson’s character says:  “You’re telling me that you’re going to fake some terrorist thing just to scare some money out congress?!”

Bureaucratic secret-agent man says:  “Unfortunately…, I have no idea how to fake killing 4,000 people…, so were just going to have to do it for real. We’ll blame it on the Muslims, naturally. Then I’ll get my funding.”

More conspiracy?  Now this one:

On January 12, 2009, or eight days before President Barack Obama was sworn into office, Dr. Henry Kissinger wrote in his New York Times editorial entitled “The Chance for a New World Order”:

The ultimate challenge is to shape the common concern of most countries and all major ones regarding the economic crisis, together with a common fear of jihadist terrorism, into a common strategy reinforced by the realization that the new issues like proliferation, energy and climate change permit no national or regional solution.

Again, just for emphasis:

“The ultimate challenge is to shape the common concern for most countries and all major ones regarding:

1.)  the economic crisis..

2.)  together with a common fear of Jihadist terrorism…

3.) into a common strategy…that… permit no national or regional solution”

Indeed.  The nations of the world have united in a shared fear of terrorism; even if not yet completely fused together economically.   Regardless, the stars aligned on September 11, 2001 because the ensuing Patriot Act and wars abroad were back-to-back lottery wins for the Creature from Jekyll Island that is fed by the magic of fractional reserve banking.

The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.

– Revelation 12:9

Today, the dragon has air superiority, and an air of superiority, as it periodically smites various regions of the world with fire. Furthermore, it has enslaved entire societies on the lands of their ancestors.

Although two former United States presidents, Eisenhower and Kennedy, warned of the Military Industrial Complex operating at the whim of secret societies, the dragon has grown not only in its power, but in its desire for global dominion as well.

This explains why some populations are sacrificed to the inferno.

In the United States, the dragon decimated the nation’s manufacturing capacities over decades, while funding conflagrations around the globe. It burnt down spiritual and educational foundations that resulted in the dumbing-down of the citizenry. It expanded governmental welfare programs while breaching its borders with mass migration, and it lulled the nation’s inhabitants into a hypnotic slumber via the financial acquisition and consolidation of the country’s media outlets and entertainment venues.

Through a steady barrage of electronic seduction, and via the digital predictive programming of false narratives and political correctness, the dragon persuaded Americans to abandon their vigilance to the founding principles which originally made their nation great.  These included individual rights as derived from natural law, in addition to other principles like honesty, morality, self-reliance, and fiscal responsibility.

When near fifty-percent of the once-great nation elected a man they designated as Donald the Dragon Slayer to save the country and make it great again, the dragon, in turn, orchestrated a coup against the newly elected one.  By means of a fabricated Russian dossier, the collusion of subversive dragon-worshipping government minions, and in coordination with the captive corporate media’s strategic leaks of hot air, the dragon now appears to have the constitutionally elected dragon-slayer cornered; in the way a welder, with torch in hand, would corral a mouse in a machine shop.

Conspiracy?  Or reality TV?

Perhaps the truth would be better served if the word “conspiracy” was replaced with the words “critical thinking”. This would prevent any contempt before investigation designed to shut down any conversations, explorations, and debates before they start.  As a point of fact, the term “conspiracy theorist” was coined in 1967 by the U.S Central Intelligence Agency’s Clandestine Services Unit in a dispatch marked “psychological operations”; it has since proven quite successful in preventing the investigative questioning of official government narratives that are spewed forth by the dragon and its media minions.

Simply stated, the word “conspire” means “two or more people colluding together in secret”.

Who ever heard of such a thing in all of the history of mankind?

It seems, as if by magic, the dragon has made people immune to truth; and they like it that way.  A similar incantation was described in the ancient book of Genesis, in chapter 11, when people desired unity upon the plains of Shinar around a tower in a city later known as Babel.  And now, it seems, the same Babylonian conjurer has cast its confounding spell over nation states and global corporations in the Worldwide West.

Just as in the days of yore, so, too, does Modern Man desire unity; even if some lives are lost in the thermogenesis.  In order for the dragon to achieve its ultimate objective of global hegemony, it first had to sacrifice the U.S. Constitution on the pyre, thus consigning it to the ash heap of history.  In so doing, the consequential concatenation of events was secured.

Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come! The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore – cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves. (emphasis added).

– Revelation 18

As for those occupying the penthouse suites in the top of the pyramid, they have repossessed the land from those wilting in the flames.  Whereas the minions in the alphabet-soup government bureaucracies, the titans of social media companies and other transnational corporations are merely the middle-management – they certainly remain administrators of the decline by serving those signing their paychecks. It’s true, money is power.

First the dragon divided and conquered, and then, it created order out of chaos.  That’s how it happened.

There were patriots after 911 who were glad to see Saddam and the Taliban get some; before the quagmire.  There were those who were proud to be Americans; before Snowden.  But, for most of us, the convenience of our smart phones outweighed the cost. Or so we thought.

It’s no wonder why Americans enjoy sportsball as the world burns.

Personally, I blame myself for not realizing sooner.  I also blame the sheeple for their lack of curiosity; and I, especially, condemn the dragon and its middling minions who hexed America into complacent complicity.

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

– John 8:44

Perhaps it was all inevitable by means of an inescapable predeterminism. Or, maybe we were merely deceived.

Either way, when the rotting corpses of The People of Walmart litter the landscape; when the hard-awakened sheeple’s tears are dried from crying over their decimated lives; and when the days become harder than most could have imagined:  Maybe then, curiosity will be renewed and fresh questions raised.  Even if it’s too late.

Perhaps “reaping what is sown” simply means “getting what we deserve”.

One day soon, I’ll eliminate my electronic catalog because I’ve come to dislike platforms such as HBO, Showtime, and Netflix for the same reasons I now despise Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter.  But, in the meantime, bubblevision is an inexpensive and convenient means to see various types of dystopia being digitally programmed into the minds of The Collective.

One of the best TV series I’ve ever seen was Netflix’s “Black Mirror” (4 seasons) and, in particular, two episodes entitled “Nosedive” and “Metalhead”.

The former was a satire describing a societal hierarchy based on a social-media-style five-point rating scale in three-dimensions; not unlike the “social credit” system now being auditioned in China. The latter illustrated a world where humanity was decimated by robotic (DARPA) dogs that appeared to have leapt right out of the current laboratories of Boston Dynamics.

Additionally, isn’t it peculiar how John the Revelator, near two millennia ago on the island of Patmos, envisioned a dragon flying over the earth with a 666 tattoo emblazoned on its chest and credit card scanners under its wings?   And that, for such a time as this; when current technologies have proven prophetic in ways Orwell and Huxley also imagined.

Just as there were multiple cultural references to 911 prior to the year 2001, ranging from cartoons and games, to music, as an expiration date in the 1999 film, “The Matrix”, and even accounting for Bush the Elder’s New World Order speech before a Joint Session of Congress on September 11, 1990 (9th month, 11 years prior) –  all of it is considered conspiracy; because prophecy is improbable.

Hope springs eternal even when reality’s inevitable. Therein lay the irony of we the sheeple.

  1. A truly thought provoking piece, Doug. I am looking forward to reading it a second time to enjoy the nuance I noticed as I read it quickly, as if hungry for some good prose.
Now, I will read for some meaning. Thank you.

  3. Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I watched “Nosedive” and “ Metalhead”. To top it off…I watched iRobot last night.
